Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location is convenient, close to park and ride services, and with good parking facilities, ideal for meeting up with friends or relaxing while visiting the Naval College. Rooms were clean, adequately spacious, and perfect for a short stay, albeit the single bed might feel a bit small. The service was exceptional, with very helpful and friendly staff who provided a dog-friendly room with direct outside access. The dining options were good, setting me up nicely for the day, but a veggie full breakfast would have been a nice addition. Overall, a great value for money stay.
The hotel had a lovely, comfortable room with a nice bathroom and a delightful breakfast. It was absolutely spotless, but on the smaller side. The service was kind, attentive, and helpful, making us feel welcome in their lovely home. The location was fantastic with a personal fridge and a door to a small garden seating area. The dining experience was good but could improve for vegetarians. The facilities were ready, ordered by phone the night before.
The hotel is ideally located for visiting South Hams area, set in a lovely old farmhouse. The rooms had everything we needed, were exceptionally clean and comfortable, including the leading patio, where my rescue collie, Flynn, enjoyed. The service, while showing signs of fatigue, was really friendly with attentive staff readily available to offer advice on local attractions, especially the Royal Naval College. The location, although up a long hill outside Dartmouth, was ideal for our trip, within walking distance of Dartmouth, with transport options for the return uphill. The dining experience was made to order, with freshly cooked dishes, yet slightly delayed, but shareable appetizers were a nice touch.
